(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – On Tuesday, former President Trump, following his arraignment at a Miami federal courthouse, went to a popular Cuban restaurant.

His arrival at Versailles restaurant in Miami only a few minutes after his appearance in court allowed him to turn the day of his arraignment into a campaign stop with his supporters. During his visit to the restaurant, he posed for photos with staff and supporters and even gave a thumbs-up. Earlier that day, he had pleaded not guilty to 37 federal counts related to his alleged mishandling of classified documents after leaving the White House in 2021. Trump’s charges vary, but they include violations of the Espionage Act, obstruction of justice charges, and false statements.

While at the restaurant, Trump shouted “Food for everyone,” while the crowd at the restaurant sang him “Happy Birthday” one day before his 77th birthday.

Walt Nauta, a co-defendant in Trump’s documents case who is indicted on six charges in connection to the case, was also at the restaurant. A video from Trump’s appearance was shared online by Trump’s campaign aides, and it shows the former president discussing and shaking hands with his supporters at the restaurant.

This campaign stop is particularly noteworthy when one considers the Cuban-American population in Florida and how important their votes can be in a federal election. Trump is also not the only candidate whose home state is Florida, as he also has to face Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), who is considered his biggest challenger in the 2024 presidential race.

This is Trump’s second arraignment this year, as earlier he was arraigned in New York on criminal charges in a completely unrelated case.
