(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – On Monday, Michael Cohen, former President Donald Trump’s ex-attorney and fixer, told jurors that Trump had personally signed off on the $130,000 hush money payment to adult star Stormy Daniels during his 2016 Presidential campaign.

Cohen recalled Trump telling him to “Just do it,” and instructing him to ascertain what would be the best way to pay Daniels for her silence about an alleged sexual encounter the pair had in 2006.

The six-figure sum is at the center of the New York state criminal court in Manhattan that has entered its fifth week.

Cohen, once one of the former President’s most faithful lieutenants, has emerged as the prosecution’s star witness. He told the jury that he learned of Daniels’ attempt to sell her story at a critical junction in Trump’s 2016 Presidential bid.

At that time, Trump’s campaign had been reeling from an audio recording that had been released on the TV show “Access Hollywood,” that Trump bragged he could grab women’s genitals without repercussions.

Cohen said that following the recording’s release, Trump had lamented that the revelation would be a “total disaster” for his campaign and that women would hate him.

Prosecutors are claiming the former President paid Cohen, who made the $130,000 payment to Daniels from his personal funds, back, hiding the reimbursement as a business expense in his

real estate company’s records.

In records, Trump claimed the payment was a legal retainer for Cohen.Trump is facing 34 counts of falsifying business records concerning reimbursing Cohen, with Prosecutors suggesting the attempt to cover up the payment violated election and tax laws, as Cohen’s payment was an unreported campaign contribution.
