(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) in a recent interview on “Meet the Press” argued that there should be a case-by-case evaluation of everyone who is facing charges relating to the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol attack when considering pardons as they want to avoid having a similar attack occur again.

During Noem’s appearance on NBC, host Peter Alexander had asked the Governor whether she believed that everyone who has faced charges relating to the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack should be pardoned. In response, she argued that every case needed to be individually evaluated. She added that from the very first day, she has been clear about not wanting to see another January 6th again. She pointed out that there was no one in the country who wanted to see something like that occur again.

She further claimed that if former President Donald Trump wins back the White House, then she believes that the country would be much safer as law and order would be restored to the streets.

In the past Trump has repeatedly claimed that if he wins a second term in office, he will be considering pardons for the Jan. 6 defendants. In March he argued that on his first day back in the Oval Office he would start by freeing all those that have been imprisoned for participating in the Capitol riot and referred to them as “hostages.”

When Alexander pushed Noem on whether she agreed with such a pardon, Noem emphasized that it would be up to Trump to look at each of the cases and make a decision. She added that these were cases that needed to be examined separately regarding their role and what was occurring in each situation.
