(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., shared on social media that he had been informed that Jose Ibarra, an illegal immigrant who is charged with the murder of university student Laken Riley has been paroled into the U.S. illegally because of the El Paso, Texas Central Processing Center being capped. This information was confirmed by the Department of Homeland Security.
Ibarra, who is originally from Venezuela and illegally entered into the United States, had been charged with the murder of Riley, 22, who was found dead on Feb. 22 on the grounds of the University of Georgia. The woman was a nursing school student at Augusta University and had been out for a run at the time of her death.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have confirmed previously that Customs and Border Protection (CBP) had first encountered the suspected murderer on Sept. 8, 2022, and that at the time he had been paroled and released while awaiting further processing.
Graham has reportedly now received more information regarding his release. In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Tuesday he argued that it has been confirmed that the reason he was paroled illegally was because the Central Processing Center was at capacity. He added that Ibarra had not been granted parole because it was believed that he had a humanitarian need or would be a benefit to the United States as is required by the law.
Graham proceeded to accuse the federal administration of taking action that was against the law and was harming and endangering innocent Americans.
