(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Former star of the “The Mandalorian” series on Disney+ Gina Carano talked about her public firing during a recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter.

In the interview, Carano spoke about the legal battle against Disney and the behind-the-scenes incident that had led to her firing. The star has right-libertarian-leaning views for which she has faced backlash, especially in connection to posts she had made on Instagram and X, formerly known as Twitter on a variety of issues including COVID-19 vaccines, the 2020 presidential election results, masking, Black Lives matters and even transgender rights.

As she argued in Hollywood it was an “unforgivable sin” to have someone who does not completely conform during a time when the world is running on high emotions.

Carano has brought forward a lawsuit against the Walt Disney Company arguing that her contract had been wrongfully terminated which had resulted in her losing millions in income. She also argued that her political views have caused her to face discriminatory treatment.

The suit is funded by X Corp, which is owned by billionaire Elon Musk. In its statement, the company argued that they were committed to free speech and that Carano had been treated unfairly because of things that she had posted and liked on X.

Carano praised Musk for his support and argued that many billionaires were using their money to buy private islands and build bunkers, but that he was using his funds in order to fight against injustice.

Carano’s legal team has argued that Disney had bullied Carano to conform with their views and when she had not done so they had fired her.
