(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) claimed that Rep. Katie Porter (D-Calif.) had “congratulated” him for winning the California Senate race Democratic nomination. This report comes after Porter had argued last week that the election was “rigged.”

During an appearance on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Schiff had claimed that Porter had congratulated him for the victory which he believed to be a concession. He added that in her message to him, she had been “very gracious” and that having previously been on both the winning and losing side of an election he understood how tough this could be.

Last week Porter had noted that the primary election in California had been “rigged.” She had then clarified after receiving backlash for this statement that by “rigged” she had meant that the election had been manipulated through dishonest means. In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, she thanked everyone for their support for her campaign and noted that because of this support they had shaken up the establishment in Washington. She proceeded to say that in this election they have had to withstand 3 to 1 in TV spending as well as billionaires spending millions of dollars in order to rig the United States election.

On Sunday, Schiff had slammed her over the use of the term “rigged” which he argued is very loaded following the Trump administration as it is heavily related to false claims and accusations of ballot fraud and staffing.

However, he did praise the Democrats for quickly criticizing that language and arguing that this was not a term that they used.
