(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – On Friday, Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) slammed the judicial process in New York, arguing that it is “corrupt to the core” following the conviction of former President Donald Trump in the hush money case.

During a speech at the Faith & Freedom Conference, Stefanik argued that what they were seeing was radical district attorneys, such as Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, weaponizing the system and targeting the political opponents of President Joe Biden.

Last month, a 12-person jury found Trump to be guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business records prior to the 2016 presidential election in an attempt to hide his alleged affair with adult film star Stormy Daniels. Bragg (D) who is behind the case has often been criticized for unfairly targeting the former President ahead of November’s election.

On Friday, Stefanik had repeated those accusations and alleged that the hush money case was a “form of election interference.” She proceeded to say that it was both “unconstitutional” and “illegal.” She added that as Americans they needed to do everything possible in order to restore equality under the law and stand up against court corruption and radicalization.

Stefanik also noted that she has already filed a complaint against the district attorney and has spoken up against the “corrupt” jury selection process. She continued by encouraging people to consider that the selection process is so corrupt that during the jury selection process, jurors who stated that they followed Trump on any social media were immediately blocked from serving on the jury. She added that they had not asked whether the same potential jurors were following Biden.

She also slammed Judge Juan Merchan who was overseeing the trial.
