(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – A White House spokesperson had to state that President Joe Biden had made a mistake when he claimed that he would be holding a “major press conference” Friday afternoon. As it was noted later, the President was supposedly referring to his interview with MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle as there was no press conference scheduled on Friday.
The interview, which is going to be the first one that Biden has given since his reelection campaign was officially announced, is going to air on Friday at 10 p.m. Still, while the White House might have attempted to correct the mistake made by President Biden, there were many online who were quick to point out his latest gaffe.
Fox News correspondent Lucas Tomlinson took to Twitter on Friday afternoon to point out that Biden has not held a single solo press conference this year, and yet he had claimed that he would hold one that afternoon. He continued to say that while the White House spokesperson had maintained that he had simply made a mistake, it was becoming evident that Biden was not the one in control at the White House.
Others also joked that Biden did not have the information written down in his note, which was why he made the mistake. Biden, 80, would be 82 at the start of his possible second term. Still, in recent months, there have been growing concerns about how his age has been affecting his mental capabilities and the extent to which he is able to carry out his presidential duties.
Biden to the press: "I'm doing a major press conference this afternoon, so I love you all, but I'd like to ask you to leave."
