(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Joe Tacopina, former lawyer for Donald Trump in New York, stated that it was possible that Trump could end up being convicted in one of the federal criminal cases that have been filed against him.

On Saturday during an interview with MSNBC’s Rev. Al Sharpton, Tacopina stated that some of the federal cases against Trump were “serious” and argued that they should not be viewed lightly. When asked by Sharpton about whether it was possible that one of the criminal cases against Trump could lead to his conviction, Tacopina argued that it was “absolutely” possible. As he pointed out there was a 12-person jury that was ultimately going to make the decision on this.

Tacopina also pointed out that Jack Smith, the federal prosecutor in the two federal cases against Trump, is a “serious” prosecutor whom he had known since his days in Brooklyn.

Trump is facing four felony counts in Washington, D.C., relating to allegations that he had been involved in a conspiracy to defraud the country. The prosecution is predominantly focused on Trump’s attempts to block the certification of President Biden’s votes on Jan. 6, 2021.

Sharpton proceeded to ask Tacopina to clarify whether he thought that the cases against Trump were “good cases” and they were not simply politics.
In response, Tacopina argued that there was a political bent in this situation, but proceeded to say that the grand jury had ultimately voted for Trump’s indictment and that Trump would be required to face a jury in Washington, D.C.
