( – In Virginia, a conservative political action committee, known as the Virginians for Conservative Leadership PAC, has launched a new advertisement campaign targeting Congressman Bob Good, a Republican representative. The central theme of the advertisement is to highlight perceived discrepancies in Good’s stance towards former President Donald Trump.

The 30-second advertisement, aptly titled “Which Bob,” was released on Monday. It takes a critical tone, contrasting what it suggests are Good’s public and private views on Trump. The ad features a voiceover that points out the difference between Good’s public support and private reservations about Trump.

A notable inclusion in the ad is a clip where Good expresses doubt about endorsing Trump, a statement he claims he would not make publicly. This is juxtaposed with Good’s endorsement of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, a Republican, over Trump in May. Good was the fourth House Republican to publicly support Governor DeSantis’s presidential bid. In his endorsement, Good praised DeSantis for his resilience and urged him to run for president, aligning with the ‘Never Back Down’ movement’s call for a bold conservative leadership.

This advertisement comes at a critical time, just hours before Trump and DeSantis face off in the Iowa Caucuses, the first significant event in the presidential nomination race. Polls indicate Trump leading the pack, followed by former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, with DeSantis in third.

Meanwhile, Bob Good is campaigning for re-election in Virginia’s 5th Congressional District. He faces competition within his party, notably from John McGuire, a state Senate delegate who has been vocal in his support for Trump. McGuire has criticized Good for not backing Trump and has called for uniting the Republican Party behind Trump to counter the Democrats’ policies, which he describes as Marxist and restrictive of freedom.
