(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – ‘Black-ish’ actress Jenifer Lewis has received backlash for her “unhinged rant” where she drew a comparison between Hitler and former President Donald Trump. The ABC sitcom star went into detail about what would happen if Trump won a second term in the White House.
On Tuesday podcast host Stacy Washington had reacted to the remarks made by Lewis and had argued that this was not the first time that such rhetoric was being used by a Hollywood icon. As she recalled President Biden had previously also said that they would “put y’all back in chains” using the same vernacular and accent. This was what Lewis was repeating and as time passes there is going to be even more of this type of rhetoric coming from her.
Washington argued that this was something that Lewis frequently does on Instagram where she will talk about politics and other things that are not true.
The podcast host also took the chance to highlight all the ways that Trump’s first term in office had differed from Biden’s first term. During Trump’s first administration families of four had the highest median household income, there were no new wars, there were the Abraham Accords, and many Black Americans were living well and thriving during his administration. She argued that in November there would be even more Black Americans who would choose to vote for Trump.
In a SiriusXM interview, Lewis had drawn a comparison between Trump and Hitler and argued that if Trump wins back the White House in November, then he will “punish” all those who had not voted in his favor.
