(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – On Monday, former President Barack Obama had a surprise meeting with the U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, this was the first in-person meeting between the two since Sunak assumed his current position.
On Monday afternoon Obama had been spotted exiting Sunak’s residence and had argued that this had only been a “courtesy visit” that had been made during his trip to London for other business. The meeting came only hours after the release of a report that detailed the rivalry between Obama, Biden, and their aides.
According to the Axios report, Biden’s aides had been complaining that Obama’s team did not show appreciation for Biden’s extensive foreign policy experience or his experience with grip-and-grin politicking and Congress. They have further claimed that they were disrespectful.
One former Biden aide had argued that Obama’s team had believed that Biden would make for a bad president and that he would not be organized enough.
A former White House official further claimed that there were many Obama people who did not care about Biden and that all of this was about them. In reference to Biden’s staff, they argued that oftentimes when people would mention that this was what had worked for Obama’s team they would simply point out that they were not Obama’s team.
Andrew Bates, the deputy press secretary of the White House had denied the relationship between Obama and Biden and had argued that Biden had never made any jabs about Obama in private. He added that Biden considered Obama to be like family to him.
