(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Republican Presidential candidates Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis have not managed to receive any endorsements from big names within the Republican party especially when compared to former President Donald Trump.

Last week, Trump received the enforcement of House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-Minn.) and House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.). Over the course of his campaign, he has received the endorsement of over 100 House members and 20 Republican senators while his opponents have only managed to draw in the support of a handful.

On Tuesday, former Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.), endorsed Trump despite his previous statements that Trump’s “time has passed.”

Many strategists have argued that the gap in the level of endorsements is an indication of the power that Trump has within the Republican party, pointing out that many Republicans are unwilling to leave the former President behind.

Republican strategist  Jason Cabel Roe argued that the GOP base is “enamored” with Trump and that Trump supporters are very vocal about backing the former President.

Trump joined the presidential race in November 2022, marking one of the earliest presidential campaign starts in modern history. From the moment he joined the race, he was instantly viewed as the frontrunner in the Republican primary race. By the time Haley, who was his first big challenger joined the race in February, Trump had the support of 25 House and five Senate GOP members. Since then Trump has managed to maintain his lead both in the polls and in the number of endorsements he has received.
