(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – On Tuesday evening, President Biden mocked Second Amendment supporters, claiming that an F-16 would be necessary if they wanted to successfully challenge the U.S. government. Biden’s remarks took place during a fundraising event in California, where he talked about gun violence in the United States and pointed out that Americans did not require AR-15s.
Biden argued that it was necessary for them to bring change and that the majority of Americans did not believe that it was necessary for them to have “weapons of war.” He proceeded to argue that he is a supporter of the Second Amendment but that there is no part of the Amendment that specifically states that people should be able to own any weapon they want. In fact, it notes that there are certain weapons that Americans are not allowed to own.
As he pointed out, even when the Second Amendment was passed, it was not legal for people to own a cannon or a machine gun. He then proceeded to make a jab at the supporters of the Second Amendment, stating that if someone wanted to go against the government, they would need an “F-16” and that an AR-15 would not be enough.
He also argued that in large part, the popularity of the AR-15 is because of the cheap production process, which allows producers to have high profit margins. This is also why so many people in the industry support this weapon because it allows them to make more money than any other firearm.
This is not the first time that Biden has made such comments. Earlier this year, he also told those at the National Action Network’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. breakfast in Washington that a much larger arsenal than an AR-15 was required if one wanted to take a shot against the U.S. government.
