(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – On Saturday, Fani Willis, Georgia’s Fulton County District Attorney, revealed to 11 Alive, a local television station, that a decision on whether or not former President Donald Trump will be indicted in connection to his attempts to overturn the state election results in 2020 was going to be reached by September 1.
Willis stated during the interview that they have spent two and a half years on the investigation and that they are now ready to move forward. She also praised Patrick Labat’s, the Fulton County Sheriff’s, decision to add more security around her office and the courthouse in order to create a safe environment in the event of an indictment.
As she argued, there were many who might be dissatisfied with the choice they would be making, and it is possible that some of those who are unhappy with their decision might choose to act in a way that could cause more harm. This is why it was smart of the sheriff to ensure the safety of the courthouse.
Willis has been looking into Trump’s attempts to influence the 2020 presidential election results in her states for over two years. If Trump ends up indicted, this would be the third indictment that he would face this year.
Trump was first indicted in a New York case related to a hush money payment and then in a federal case in Florida related to his alleged mishandling of classified documents after leaving the White House in 2021. He might also face another federal indictment relating to his attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results.
