(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – The White House is trying to decide whether it would be a good idea to release the transcripts that special counsel Robert Hur took of President Joe Biden to defuse the concerns about the President’s mental abilities.

The Biden administration is open to the possibility of the transcript being released once it is declassified. Following the release of Hur’s report, the White House released a defense of Biden arguing that the remarks in the report were politically motivated as the President was described as an old man who suffered from memory problems.

Certain Biden allies have suggested that it might benefit the president if the report is released, especially as it could dispel some of the most damaging arguments made by the special counsel.

One former White House aide argued that the transcript could be a “powerful tool” against the claims regarding Biden’s age. He added that Hur was attempting to play politics with the release of the report. However, it is not yet clear whether the White House is indeed willing to release the transcript.

On Tuesday, press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated that they were currently discussing the possible release of the transcript but that this could only happen after the declassification process was completed. She added that there were protocols that would need to be followed and that they were currently examining that.

On Sunday, Biden’s personal attorney Bob Bauer similarly said that whether or not Biden’s transcripts will be released is dependent on the government’s decision.
