(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – A new video has been going viral that shows the moment that former Vice President Mike Pence is confronted by former President Donald Trump’s supporters, who refer to him as a “sellout.”

On Friday, Pence, who is a 2024 presidential candidate, had a campaign stop in New Hampshire, where he was met by several pro-Trump protesters. Following Trump’s indictment on Tuesday on four charges relating to his attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election and his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack, Pence criticized his former running mate. Trump has maintained that these are “fake charges” and that he has not committed any wrongdoings.

However, Pence, who took a clear stance against Trump on this, broke away from other Republican presidential candidates who have avoided criticizing Trump for fear it would alienate his supporters.

On Friday, when Pence arrived at the American Legion Hall in Londonderry, New Hampshire, for his scheduled town hall, a group of pro-Trump protesters started heckling and shouting. Among the many criticisms they shouted, they also said that Pence was a “sellout” and a “traitor” for not overturning the 2020 presidential election results.

Trump supporters had first attacked Pence over his refusal to overturn the election in 2021 when, during the Capitol attack, rioters could be heard chanting “hang Mike Pence.”

Throughout his presidency, Trump had a strong ally and supporter in his vice president, but that changed after Trump tried to push Pence into not certifying the Presidential election results. Pence has maintained that his position is ceremonial and that he would not have been able to overturn the election.
