(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – A new video has been going viral on TikTok in which Zoe, a bride, surprised her mother and father during her July 1 nuptials by allowing them to have their moment during her wedding.
In the video, the bride revealed that her parents had run away at the age of eighteen and had ended up getting secretly married. This meant that they never had the chance to have their first dance, which is why she wanted to give them the opportunity to do so now. She then proceeded to thank her parents for their support and for everything they had been doing for them.
Many in the crowd were shocked and emotional as the bride’s parents, Chris and Jacque Ford, proceeded to share a dance to “Your Song” by Ellie Goulding. The video posted on TikTok has gathered more than 3 million views, and it has resulted in many commentators congratulating the couple on their family.
Jacque explained in an interview that in 1998 she ran off with her husband at age 18, right after Chris joined the Air Force. Jacque, who works as an event florist and often does weddings, said that at the time all the couple knew was that they wanted to be together.
In a follow-up TikTok video, she shared that they had been married for more than 25 years and that they had been together since the age of 15. The couple got married right after Chris finished high school and joined the Air Force. Wedding videos often go viral on TikTok, with many going viral in the same week.
