(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – West Virginia Governor Jim Justice and his dog Babydog stole the show with an appearance at the 2024 Republican National Convention. The English bulldog accompanied its owner on stage, overshadowing many others. During the appearance, the two garnered a lot of attention, applause, and even chants from the audience. Babydog was given her own chair beside the governor, further showcasing her popularity with the crowd.

Justice, who introduced Babydog as his “little buddy,” has three dogs, two of which are Boston terriers. Babydog who is now almost five, was born on October 27, 2019, and has become a beloved figure in West Virginia. It is not unusual for her to accompany Justice on his travels and was even the mascot during the COVID-19 vaccination campaign. The dog’s presence brings joy and has become a staple in Justice’s public appearances.

During his Senate campaign, Babydog has been prominently featured, with merchandise like T-shirts and mugs showcasing her image. Justice’s campaign website highlights Babydog’s role in spreading warmth and unity. The governor, having already secured the Republican Senate primary, is expected to win the general election in November. If elected, Justice will bring Babydog to the Senate, however, it is unlikely that she will be given a seat there.

However, at the convention her popularity is clear, having received both a chair and the audience’s attention. Justice’s Senate campaign continues to feature Babydog, emphasizing her role in connecting with people and enhancing the governor’s public image.
