(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Ex-President Donald Trump has urged the Supreme Court to step in regarding the lawsuit lodged against him by the Department of Justice’s Special Counsel, Jack Smith. This legal action pertains to Trump’s efforts to reverse the outcome of the 2020 presidential race and his involvement in the Capitol attack on January 6, 2021.

Early Friday, Trump utilized his Truth Social platform to claim that President Biden had influenced the initiation of legal proceedings against him. He further stressed that the numerous lawsuits filed against him demand significant financial and time investments for resolution. As Trump noted, this redirection of his resources towards his legal challenges hampers his focus on his presidential campaign, thereby affecting his ability to host rallies and run advertisements.

In his post, he asserted his lead in the Republican presidential primary race, where he is generally projected to be victorious. He also claimed a lead over Joe Biden in various polls. However, Trump suggested the competition was unbalanced due to alleged attempts to meddle in the presidential election. He further propagated the necessity of the Supreme Court’s intervention.

On the preceding Thursday, Trump made an appearance in a Washington, D.C., courtroom concerning his third indictment. During his arraignment, he entered a plea of not guilty to four charges associated with the events of January 6. These charges comprised conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of or attempted obstruction of an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights.
