(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – On Thursday, former President Donald Trump slammed the Supreme Court for having heard the case relating to his eligibility to be on Colorado’s primary election ballot. In his statement, he blasted the Supreme Court arguing that this was a case of “election interference” but that he was confident that his side’s arguments had been well received.
Following the conclusion of the arguments, Trump argued that it was unfortunate that they had to sit through such things but that having sat through the hearing it was a “very beautiful process.” He further argued that his lawyers had done a very good job presenting and that their arguments had been “well received.”
He proceeded to argue that he was hopeful the country’s democracy was going to continue as they currently had a “very tough situation” where the radical left was pushing for the weaponization of politics at levels that had never been done before. He added that this situation was completely illegal but they still did it.
Trump in his remarks also blasted President Biden over his competence and even falsely alleged that all of the investigations looking into his conduct were coming from the White House.
On Thursday, Trump’s lawyers had to appear before the justices in an attempt to get the lawsuit from Colorado, which questions whether or not Trump is eligible to participate in the state’s election under the 14th Amendment’s “insurrection clause.”
The oral arguments are an important milestone in all the challenges that are looking to use the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack to block Trump from winning back the White House.
