(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – On Thursday, former President Donald Trump slammed Bill Barr, the former attorney general in his administration, claiming he was “slow thinking and lethargic” and complaining that he had not looked into Trump’s unfounded claims of election fraud following the 2020 presidential election.
In the past two and a half years, Trump has often targeted Barr, especially following the former attorney general’s media appearances, in which he often criticizes Trump. On Wednesday, during one such appearance, Barr stated that he would be open to testifying in a criminal trial against Trump. Trump was quick to comment on this despite the previous warnings he has received from a judge to abstain from attempting to influence possible witnesses.
In a post on Truth Social Trump questioned why it was that Fox News was constantly having Barr appear on their shows. He argued that Barr did not have the “courage or stamina” to go against the “radical left lunatics” during his time as attorney general, and he had also refused to look into any possible election fraud. He added that Barr was aware of what was going on, and that is clear from his earlier remarks.
Finally, Trump also took a jab at Fox News, arguing that if they did not hire the right people, they would never see their ratings go back up. In a different post, Trump stated that Barr had altered his views on election fraud because of the pressure he had faced from the Democrats. He then proceeded to include a video from an interview Barr gave on CNN in September 2020 in which he warned that expanding the mail-in voting system was essentially “playing with fire.”
