( – On Friday night, former President Donald Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social to warn that if he does not win back the White House then he predicts that there would be a worse stock market crash than the one in the Great Depression.

Trump started off his statement by arguing that President Joe Biden has brought huge levels of inflation to the country which is destroying the spending power of the American people. He further argued that the only reason that the economy is showing some optimism is because of the Federal Reserve’s promise to bring down the inflation rates.

Trump further claimed that the only reason why the economy continued to be “alive” was because it was living off the fumes of everything that the Trump administration had accomplished. He further claimed that the stock market was currently high because experts were anticipating that he would win back the White House in 2024.

The former President has previously rebuked Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., who had assisted the Democrats in passing a big spending package by helping them get the necessary Republican votes to increase the debt ceiling and get the spending packages they wanted to pass through the Senate.

In December during a speech at the New York Young Republicans Club Gala Trump argued that they were close to a depression that would be unlike anything that the country had ever seen. As he pointed out, the U.S. debt was at $36 trillion and President Biden did not have a clue. He added that McConnell had handed him $10 trillion as if it was candy.
