(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – In an interview on Univision aired on Thursday, former President Trump suggested that if he were elected, he could end up using the government to launch investigations against his political opponents. He further claimed that this would be fair to do considering the Department of Justice indicted him two times earlier this year on two separate cases.
Trump argued that if they followed through with this, then the exact same scenario could end up working “in reverse.” He added that the actions taken by the Justice Department have taken the “genie out of the box,” and they have something that no one would have previously thought to be possible.
He added that when one is president and has done his job well, you don’t expect others to go after her just in order to win an election. He then said that if he happened to be the president and he saw someone else doing well in the election and beating him, he could just say that they should have that person indicted, as this would result in them being completely out of the election.
This is not the first time that Trump has made such assertions. On Wednesday night, in a rally in Hialeah, Fla., Trump told his supporters that now that he had been indicted, they were allowed to “look at him (President Joe Biden).” He even added that if he won the presidential election, he would make the Department of Justice launch investigations into “every Marxist prosecutor” in the country.
