(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Former President Trump released a video message in which he criticized President Biden over his response to the wildfires in Maui, Hawaii.
In the video, Trump pointed out that when Biden was asked about the fires while entering a car to possibly return to his home from the beach, he smiled and laughed and stated that he did not have anything to say about the tragedy and deaths that had taken place.
He added that while it is acceptable on occasion to not have a comment to make, it is particularly unacceptable, especially following such a tragic event, to be smiling while stating you don’t have a comment. He argued that Biden’s behavior of not providing any assistance or commenting on the situation in Maui was disgraceful,” and it resembles his behavior following the East Palestine, Ohio, train derailment that occurred earlier this year.
On Monday, the White House was heavily criticized for Biden being on vacation and not commenting on the wildfires that have caused almost 100 deaths in Maui thus far. However, Karine Jean-Pierre, the press secretary, pointed out that Biden had been in communication with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as part of the wildfire response.
She further pointed out that the administrator of FEMA had been on the ground for the past two days to ensure that the local government had the resources it needed. She added that there were hundreds of FEMA personnel at the scene and that this was what was important.
