(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Following the Republican National Convention where former President Donald Trump was selected to be the GOP presidential nominee, there has been a push for U.S. allies to get in the good graces of the Trump campaign.

On Friday, Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelenskyy made a call to the former President congratulating him on his nomination. He noted that during their discussion they agreed that they would need to negotiate and look at the possible steps for establishing a lasting peace.

During the Republican National Convention, a Taiwanese bipartisan delegation was present where they discussed with both Republican lawmakers and former Trump administration senior security officials.

Trump during his keynote address at the RNC vowed once again that if he is reelected, he is going to put an end to “every single international crisis” including the war between Russia and Ukraine.

Trump also spoke about having a “good relationship” with many of the leaders of the United States’ biggest adversaries. He proceeded to state that this was the key to avoiding bad action and argued that the high levels of antagonism are what has pushed the country to increase its own defense.

Trump further noted that for a long time, the United States has been taken advantage of by other countries, even those that have in the past been considered allies.

Alliance for Securing Democracy at the German Marshall Fund managing director Rachael Dean Wilson has claimed that she has heard from diplomats that currently they consider it important to meet with local and state lawmakers who agree with Trump’s messaging in order to better understand the current political environment in the U.S.
