(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – This week, Eric Adams, the mayor of New York City, who has frequently blasted the Biden administration over the open border policies that are going to “destroy” New York City, did not arrange to meet with the President during the United Nations General Assembly.

On Monday, Adams had meetings with a number of leaders who had visited his city as part of the assembly; however, President Biden was notably not one of those with whom he met. A source has also revealed to Politico that there are no plans for Adams and Biden to meet on Tuesday. This was further confirmed by White House aides.

When reporters asked Adams about whether he had discussed arranging a meeting with the president this week, Adams claimed that he did not “do those private conversations.”

A City Hall adviser revealed to Politico that this was an attempt by the two men to not exacerbate the “already tense situation” any further. White House aides have further confirmed that the relationship between the two men is strained as a result of the immigration crisis, but that this does not mean that Adamas and the White House will not collaborate in the future.

Antonio Reynoso (D), President of the Brooklyn Borough, stated that this was an unfortunate situation and that these delays by all levels of government to negotiate were just harming the migrants.

Biden, who has not spoken with Adams for the past few months, has also removed the New York City mayor from the high-level Biden surrogates list.
