(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – On September 2, a 14-year-old girl was reportedly told by a member of the crew to use the first-class bathroom. The male crew member had proceeded to enter the bathroom before her and allegedly taped a phone to the back of the toilet scene on the airplane. The family of the minor has stated that they believe the crew member targeted her.
According to the family’s written statement, after using the bathroom, the girl noticed that an iPhone had been taped secretly to the back of the toilet seat and had been recording her. The girl proceeded to use her own phone to take a photo of it and then exited the plane’s bathroom.
The family noted that these events were shocking and disturbing for their entire family. The lawyer representing the family, Paul Llewellyn, has noted that they have not filed a lawsuit yet.
After the plane landed in Boston, law enforcement officers escorted the flight attendant in question off the flight. The FBI has taken over the investigations into the incident that occurred in the air and, as such, falls under their jurisdiction and not the state’s.
American Airlines, in their own statement, said that they were going to fully cooperate with the investigations and that they had taken the matter very seriously. They added that the safety and security of their passengers were their primary concerns.
