(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – An unnamed Secret Service agent sent an email in which they stated that a group had contacted them to request “protection and medical attention” for any Trump supporters who could potentially be attacked by leftists during a rally in North Carolina.

The email was sent in September 2020, and the agent, who claimed to have been an “unofficial liaison to the Oath Keepers,” also stated that Stewart Rhodes, the founder of the Oath Keepers, had called them to ask questions as he was looking for a “liaison with our personnel.”

A different agent also stated that they had contacted Oath Keepers members, including Rhodes, on September 16, 2020, and that they had told other agents that the group was looking to ensure that those attending the event would be able to get to the area from their cars safely. They further added that their efforts were not focused on being there for a demonstration or to push forward a political agenda.

Another agent conducted a “social media analysis” in order to find additional information both about the Oath Keepers and Rhodes, who had specifically denounced the ideals followed by White Nationalists. The agent had pointed out that the Oath Keepers Facebook account included a lot of pro-gun content and posts and articles about U.S. politics and racism in the nation.

These emails contradict the Secret Service’s previous statements that they did not have sufficient information to determine whether any of the organization’s agents had been in contact with Rhodes in the past.
