(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Several delegates at the RNC wore ear bandages similar to the one Trump wore following the attempt on his life.
Some delegates at the Republican National Convention (RNC), including Arizona’s Joe Neglia and Stacey Goodman, were seen wearing fake ear bandages mirroring the one former President Donald Trump wore after a bullet pierced his ear during his rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.
Speaking to Fox News Digital, Neglia revealed he decided to wear the faux bandage to “honor the truth,” “to honor Trump,” and to express his “sympathy” and “unity” with the former President.
Neglia explained he made the bandages on his way to Milwaukee, where the Republican National Convention is being held.
The former President has had to wear the bandage on his right ear after the attempt on his life by 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks.
Neglia added that the bandages had a “male version and a female version because there are only two genders!”
Other attendees also sported the faux bandage.
Delegates had been showing their love for Trump throughout Tuesday, giving the presumptive GOP nominee a warm reception, even as he took his seat in the Trump family box to listen to lawmakers, activists, and everyday Americans speak out on topics such as crime, immigration, and the fentanyl crisis, in keeping with Tuesday’s theme of “Make America Safe Again.”
Trump’s newly appointed running mate, Ohio Senator JD Vance, joined him in his family’s box on Tuesday night.
Trump arrived at the convention on Day Two. In time to hear Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee, Senator Ted Cruz (Texas), Senator Marco Rubio (Florida), and his daughter-in-law Laura Trump’s remarks.
He also stayed for the addresses of his former primary rivals, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley — both endorsed him and called for unity in the remarks on Tuesday evening.
