(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Republicans are changing up the “Are you better off now than you were four years ago?” slogan by asking people whether they were better off under the Trump or Biden administration.

The GOP has argued that under President Donald Trump the economy, and especially inflation, had been much better than it was under Biden. They further claimed that Trump had a much better handle on foreign policy and had used the wars in Ukraine and Gaza to showcase that. They also argue that Trump had secured the U.S. border much better than Biden had.

This assertion is something that the Democrats have worried could arguably become an issue ahead of the presidential election in November. These issues are also likely to become central during the presidential debate next month where former President Trump and incumbent President Biden are going to face off.

A longtime Democratic strategist argued that if he was the one advising the former President this is exactly what he would say. He added that these are issues that are important to voters and currently the Democrats are losing the debate on all of them, even if it is not something that they want to admit.

Other strategists, including Democratic ones, have acknowledged however that this argument is not a hundred percent accurate because of the pandemic.

During the pandemic lockdown, Trump had made several questionable remarks including recommending that they inject bleach in order to fight off the virus. At the same time, millions of Americans were hospitalized or lost their lives as a result of the pandemic.
