(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – The Colorado Springs Police Department is looking for a 35-year-old woman who is suspected of having murdered her two children in Colorado Springs.

Kimberlee Singler, the woman in question, is suspected to have killed two of her children and wounded the third before leaving the area on Friday. According to officials, the wounded child, an 11-year-old girl who had been injured, is currently safe and being cared for.

On Dec. 19 at half past midnight, the police received a call about a burglary at a condominium. When they arrived at the scene they found two children, a 7-year-old boy and a 9-year-old dead, as well as an 11-year-old girl and a woman who were wounded. The police had identified the woman to be Singler and the three children as hers.

Police noted that the two wounded victims had been transferred to a hospital where they were cared for their injuries. Following the investigation, however, the officers determined that there was no evidence to support the initial burglary report.

On Dec. 26, investigators got an arrest warrant for Singler, on several charges including assault, child abuse, and first-degree murder. The police department has noted that the woman, who is currently missing, was not under surveillance as they had originally believed her to be the victim of a burglary.

The FBI is also assisting in the search for Singler whose bond was set to $10 million by the court. The details of the arrest warrant are under court order seal right now, but they are expected to be unsealed at a later time.
