(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – On Tuesday, the families of Americans who are missing in Israel held a press conference in Tel Aviv, asking President Biden to do something so that their loved ones could return home.
Rachel Goldberg, the mother of 23-year-old Hersh Goldberg-Polin, shared on Tuesday that the last messages she had received from her son simply stated, “I love you. I’m sorry.” She claims that her son was taken as a hostage by Hamas following the attack on Saturday morning, and she has not been able to communicate with him since then.
Goldberg shared that her son had sent her the two consecutive messages at 8:11, which made her immediately realize that he was most likely in a “terrible situation.” She added that she understood the messages to mean I love you and I am sorry about whatever pain you are going to feel over what is happening to me. Goldberg stated that she has attempted to text and call her son but that she has not been able to reach him since that text message was sent.
Goldberg-Polin had attended a music festival in Israel on Saturday, which was attacked by Hamas soldiers. Over 250 people were immediately killed during the attack.
Goldberg has claimed that after speaking with some of the witnesses to the attack, she found out that her son had attempted to take cover but had ended up losing his arm after getting caught in the “gun battle.” She added that once the gunfire settled down, the Hamas called for anyone who was able to walk to stand up and leave.
