(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – On Monday, First Lady Jill Biden will start traveling across key battleground states as part of the Biden campaign’s initiative seeking to connect with military families and veterans, seeking to highlight the differences between President Biden’s and former President Donald Trump’s record with presidents.
Jill Biden is going to start on Monday with events in Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina, as all three states are known for having a high population of military families and veterans.
In 2020 Georgia had been a crucial state in the presidential election, as it allowed Biden to win the election. The Biden campaign is now hoping to flip North Carolina ahead of the 2024 presidential election, as they had only narrowly lost the state four years earlier. In recent years Florida has started to be considered a red state, however, officials still believe that there is a possibility for the state to be flipped.
Apart from the travels of the first lady, the Biden campaign is also planning on holding events as part of the initiative in Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Arizona. These are all stated that the president had won in 2020, however, the polls have shown that the races in these states are going to be close in the 2024 cycle.
The Biden campaign has often placed a lot of attention on veterans and military families, highlighting that the president himself was a military father. They have often contrasted this to former President Trump who is supposed to have referred to fallen service members as “losers” and “suckers.”
