(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – JD Vance thinks Democrats should invoke the 25th Amendment to remove President Joe Biden from Office.
In an interview that aired Monday night on Fox News, Vice Presidential hopeful Senator JD Vance (R-Ohio), alongside former President Donald Trump, told Jesse Watters that he believed the attempt of multiple Democrats to get Biden to withdraw was a coup attempt.
Vance highlighted that there is a “constitutional process — the 25th Amendment,” adding that if Biden is unfit to “run for President, he can’t serve as President,” and that if Democrats believe he is “mentally incapable of serving, invoke the 25th Amendment.”
The Ohio Senator argued that Democrats shouldn’t be able to remove Biden in “the most politically beneficial way,” for the party and should rather pursue the “appropriate way.”
When Watters asked Trump if he believed the alleged covert effort to remove Biden was a “coup” attempt, he replied, “sort of.”
On Sunday, in a post on X, Vance described Biden as “the worst President in my lifetime,” pointing out that Vice President “Kamala Harris has been right there with him every step of the way.”
Biden ended his re-election campaign on Sunday, releasing a statement on social media that he intended to withdraw from the 2024 Presidential race. Shortly after the announcement, he endorsed Harris.
Before Biden made the announcement that ended speculation about whether he’d leave or stay, reports had surfaced about elite Democrats, including former President Barack Obama, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (New York), and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (California), urging Biden to drop out of the race so new leadership could face-off against Trump in November.
