(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Donald Trump posted a new campaign video in which he outlined his plans for deploying military assets to fight the fentanyl crisis and fight cartel operations if he wins back the White House in 2024. He proceeded to state that he would seek to have convicted human traffickers and drug dealers receive the death penalty.
The campaign video was acquired by Fox News on Thursday. In it, Trump stated that prior to his election, the number of deaths caused by drug overdoses had been increasing each year for the past three decades. Under his administration, they took on the fight against drugs and fentanyl and managed to achieve the first decline in the number of overdose deaths. However, he proceeds to state that all of their efforts have gone to nothing as President Joe Biden has essentially “surrendered” the country’s southern border. This has resulted in fentanyl and other drugs entering the country unchecked and causing more than one hundred thousand deaths per year.
In his campaign video, Trump attacked Biden, stating that his record is “one of death, destruction, and misery” for people across the country. He added that when he returns to the White House, he will immediately take action to help save American lives and end the “horrific plague” that is the drug overdose crisis.
Trump also added that he would deploy military assets and “impose a full naval embargo on drug cartels” in order to fight off the cartels. He insisted that neighboring governments would be completely in favor of this action and his activity in fighting off the drug cartels.
