(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) Motion Pictures co-head and Creative Artists Agency (CAA) Agent Maha Dakhil, who recently came under fire over her controversial statements against Israel’s retaliatory strikes against Gaza, has been contributing to the campaign of many top Democrats, including Vice President Kamala Harris.
Dakhil, who was dropped by Aaron Sorkin, a top screenwriter, recently has a large clientele that includes Madonna, Tom Cruise, and Anne Hathaway. However, recently, after her posts against Israel on her social media accounts, she has faced a lot of backlash.
Dakhil reposted a message on her Instagram in which she accused Israel of using their retaliatory attacks to commit genocide. In the message reposted, it simply stated, “You’re currently learning who supports genocide.” In the caption, she wrote that for her, this was the line. She proceeded to sell a second photo in which she questioned what could be more heartbreaking than a genocide happening, to which the response was the denial of the genocide occurring.
Her statements led to many criticizing her, while Sorkin decided to move to a different agency. He then stated that, while Maha was not an antisemite, she was wrong in her statement. He added that she had been a “great agent” and that over the last six years, they had produced work he was very proud of.
Like many others in Hollywood, Dakhil has been a big supporter of members of the Democratic Party and has often donated thousands of dollars. In 2019, she donated $2,800 to Harris’ failed presidential campaign. She has also backed Sens. Cory Booker and Elizabeth Warren.
