(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – On Friday, during a speech at the Republican Party Dinner in Montgomery, Alabama, former President Donald Trump argued that he was only one indictment away from winning the 2024 presidential election. Trump was arraigned a day earlier on four federal criminal charges connected to his attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election. He pleaded not guilty on all counts. He has previously argued that his legal troubles have helped his 2024 presidential campaign.

During this latest speech, Trump argued that every single time an indictment was filed against him, his position in the polls would increase. He then argued that they were only one indictment away from completely winning the 2024 presidential election without any other contender having a chance against him.

Trump also argued that the charges against him were politically driven and also blasted special counsel Jack Smith from the Department of Justice, who has been in charge of the two federal investigations against him. Earlier in the summer, Trump was also indicted on federal charges relating to his alleged mishandling of classified documents following his exit from the White House in 2021.

Trump argued that despite the efforts of Smith, whom he called deranged,” and the “demented prosecution,” his campaign continued to grow stronger every single day. Trump has also alleged that the charges against him are something that Vice President Biden has pushed for so that he can beat Trump in the Presidential elections. He argued that what they were doing was not fair and, most likely, also illegal.
