(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Lucas Vilaca Moreira Fontenelle who arrived in the United States illegally but had been allowed to stay under the Massachusetts sanctuary policies despite a previous assault conviction, has been arrested again on robbery charges.
The 21-year-old from Brazil was one of the three illegal immigrants who have been accused of being involved in robbing a butcher shop in the town of Milford.
On Dec. 11, Fontenelle received a suspended sentence for battery and assault with a firearm. There was also a detainer placed on him by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). However, the city had let him go loose without providing the feds with a warning.
In these latest charges against him, Fontenelle is accused of having obtained another firearm. He and the other illegal immigrants had robbed a butcher shop wearing a mask. They had ended up taking over $1,200. This incident took place on Jan. 9, not even a month after he was released from custody.
A third suspect was also involved in the case. While the third suspect had not entered the store they had been waiting outside in a getaway vehicle.
Milford police noted that they had arrested him on Jan. 15, while his alleged accomplice 26-year-old Daniel Generoso who had also illegally entered the country was arrested earlier that day. The Police had ended up arresting him following a standoff in a Milford home.
ICE has now placed a detainer on him again.
