(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – In a recent Echelon Insights poll, conservative entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy managed to surpass former Vice President Mike Pence while also slowly catching up to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in the 2024 Republican presidential primary race.

The survey was conducted from June 26 to June 29, and it found that former President Donald Trump continues to lead the primary race with 49 percent. In second place was DeSantis with 16 percent, and in third place was Ramaswamy with 10 percent. Currently, the distance between Ramaswamy and DeSantis is only 6 percentage points, while Trump is still leading DeSantis by 33 points. Pence and former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley were tied with 5 percent.

In a head-to-head matchup, Trump won over DeSantis by 28 points, with 60 percent over 32 percent. This news comes only a month after Ramaswamy pushed members of the Republican primary to sign a pledge that they would pardon Trump of all federal charges if they won the White House.

Outside the Miami courthouse where Trump was arraigned, Ramaswamy stated that “the letter” was his commitment that should he win the White House, he would pardon Trump for the offenses he is facing in relation to a federal case. He also demanded that all other candidates in the race do the same thing and commit to pardoning Trump, or at least explain why they are not promising to pardon him.

Trump praised Ramaswamy earlier this year in a campaign email, stating that the thing he likes about him is that he has praised the Trump administration for everything they have done well, which is why he was performing so well.
