(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Former President Donald Trump’s ally and former governor of Alaska Sarah Palin called for supporters to rise up following Trump’s booking and arrest on Thursday at the Fulton County Jail.
In an interview on Newsmax’s Eric Bolling’s “The Balance” Palin argued on the same day as the booking that those who are responsible for “this travesty” have been working to create a two-tier system of justice. She further added that she wanted to ask those responsible whether they were looking for a “civil war” because that is what will happen. Finally, she said that they would not continue to put up with this and that they were going to “rise up” and claim back their country.
These remarks came after Trump had turned himself in to the Fulton County Jail where he was booked in connection with an indictment by Fani Willis, the Fulton County District Attorney connected to his attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election in Georgia. Trump has maintained that he committed no wrongdoings in this case.
On Thursday evening Trump’s mugshot was released online, with the former President sharing the image, along with a link to his fundraising website. In the post, he had written “ELECTION INTERFERENCE” and “NEVER SURRENDER.”
Trump was indicted earlier this month by a Fulton County grand jury along with 18 others. The 19 defendants are being accused of participating in a scheme to overturn the presidential election results in 2020 as well as of violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.
