(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – On Wednesday, FBI Director Christopher Wray noted that according to their investigation, only a day after registering for the Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania the 20-year-old would-be assassin had looked into the assassination of John F. Kennedy online.

In his testimony before the House Judiciary Committee, Wray noted that after analyzing his laptop they had found that Thomas Crooks, the suspect in the shooting, had googled July 6 the distance between Oswald and Kennedy in the shooting. This search had been conducted on the same day that he had registered for Trump’s rally.

Lee Harvey Oswald assassinated former President Kennedy on November 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas.

Wray noted that Crooks had fired at least eight rounds from where he was perched on the rooftop, one of which had ended up wounding Trump in the air. During the shooting, one other attendee had lost his life and two others were critically injured. Wray noted that Crooks had used an AR-15 assault-style rifle in the attack with a collapsible stock which is why the attack had not been as easy to observe.

It is still unclear what Crooks’ motivation for the shooting is, as the man was considered a loner who had a short list of contacts on his phone.

Wray also revealed that Crooks had flown a drone around 200 yards from the stage where Trump was located and had live-streamed the footage for around 11 minutes. This had happened around two hours before the event.

In Crooks’s vehicle, they also found some explosive devices that had been created to be detonated remotely. Crooks had the transmitter on him during the shooting.
