(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – On Tuesday, Kathy Griffin argued that she had not realized “how serious” the Justice Department was going to be about the controversial photo she had posted of her holding a fake bloody head depicting former President Donald Trump.
During an appearance on the podcast “Dinner’s on Me with Jesse Tyler Ferguson,” Griffin stated that she had recently received a Freedom of Information Act which expressed the severity of what charges he would be facing including a charge for “conspiracy to assassinate” the United States president.
Griffin proceeded to say that it was her idiocy to believe that people had been ready to understand how dangerous Trump was. She added that she had reportedly taken the photo along with many other ones and had only believed that the photo would end up on Instagram for a couple of days and might have ended up being reshared on a gay blog.
During an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” a few years ago, Griffin had disclosed that she would be under a two-month federal investigation as they were looking into whether she should be charged with a crime for this photo. She added that she had been put on a “no-fly list” and that the International Criminal Police Organization had also added her to a list which had led to her always being stopped at international airports.
Trump himself had also posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, arguing that Griffin needed to be “ashamed” of the photo she had posted.
