( – On Tuesday, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s campaign launched a new campaign targeting former U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley for her presidential campaign arguing that the only reason she had joined the race was so that former President Donald Trump would choose her as his vice President.

The website “Trump-Nikki 2024” points to many of the remarks Haley and other politicians have made which DeSantis’ campaign argues are an indication that Haley wanted to be the vice president and not President. On the website, DeSantis also mocks the campaign slogan of the former President arguing it is “Make the Establishment Great Again!”

The website reads that Haley had been wanting to be the Vice President for the former President for years and that her 2024 campaign was just an attempt to make that dream come true. It adds that much like the former President, they have spent a combined over $30 million against DeSantis. It further points out that Haley has refused to launch any attacks against Trump.

Haley, who has in the past few days managed to surpass DeSantis in many key races, including in the New Hampshire primary polls, has been a target of the DeSantis campaign. DeSantis recently also kept asking Haley whether she would be willing to accept the position of Vice President if Trump offered it to her.

DeSantis during his campaign stop in New Hampshire argued that it did not make sense why both were using funds against him, but that Trump had not spent any money targeting Haley, and Haley had not spent any money targeting Trump.
