(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Following the special counsel’s report which brought into question the mental acuity of President Joe Biden, there have been increased anxieties among House Democrats who are worried about how Biden’s age could harm their chances of winning back control of the lower chamber in the 2024 election.
The Democrats have been quick to slam special counsel Robert Hur over his assessment of President Biden’s mental abilities and have strongly disagreed with the comments made about Biden being an “elderly man with a poor memory.” The report which is the result of the investigation into Biden’s handling of classified documents has resulted in many Democrats accusing Hur of overstepping with his assessment of the President.
However, the Democrats have also acknowledged that the report provided new ammunition to the Republican party, which has often attacked President Biden, 81, age and his mental acuity and has questioned whether or not at his age he was fit to hold office.
This narrative has been a chief problem for the President’s reelection campaign as he is heading toward the 2024 November election.
A former Democratic aide, who is in close contact with Capitol Hill, claimed that the Democrats are going to say that Hur had included in his reports several things that he should not have mentioned. They will also point out how Hur’s job is to determine whether Biden had committed a crime and not whether or not he was too old to serve in the White House.
