(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – On Sunday, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) appeared on CNN’s “State of the Union” where she told co-host Jake Tapper that she did not regret the comments she had made about Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) during the House hearing last week.

As she argued she had signed up to be a Congress member, but that did not mean that she had agreed to being put in a position where she would be disrespected. She also claimed that her insults had not been direct to Greene when she had referred to a “beach blonde bad built butch body” as she had not mentioned the lawmaker explicitly but rather was asking something related to the rules. However, Tapper did not appear to be convinced by this explanation.

On Thursday night Greene and Crocket had been part of a heated exchange after Greene had asked the House Oversight Committee’s Democratic members whether any of them had been employing the daughter of Judge Juan Merchan, who is overseeing the New York criminal trial of former President Donald Trump.

Crocket had at the time responded by questioning how this was in any way related to Attorney General Merrick Garland and questioned whether Greene even knew what the meeting was for.

In response, Greene had argued that it was Crocket who did not know why she was there, and that her “fake eyelashes” had been messing up with the things she was reading. Crocket had later on asked whether it would violate congressional protocol if she had asked a hypothetical question. She had specifically asked Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) who had ruled on whether or not Greene’s comments should be struck from the record, what would happen if someone in the committee started talking about a “bleach blonde bad built butch body” of someone in the House.
