(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – In Washington State, authorities reported the discovery of two bodies that are believed to have belonged to a local couple that had gone missing last month.
On Saturday, there was a new press release by the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office, where they noted that, based on the preliminary investigation, the two bodies that were discovered in the military base are believed to have belonged to Karen and Davido Koep.
The couple, who were 62 and 68, respectively, had been residents of Thurston County and were last seen alive on November 10. However, three days later, deputies who had been called to perform a wellness check at the couple’s residence had not found them. At the time, the authorities had reported that there were reasons to believe that the couple had been attacked and possibly killed at the residence.
Last month, authorities arrested a suspect, whose identity has remained private, who was “known” to the couple. The man is facing charges of first-degree kidnapping and first-degree murder. According to the Seattle Times report, the suspect had been renting a home from the couple. He had allegedly proceeded to kill them after learning that he might end up being evicted from the property.
Sheriff Derek Sanders has noted that the bodies have not yet been identified as the Koeps; however, investigators are “reasonably certain” that the two bodies belonged to the missing couple. The coroner’s officer is tasked with confirming the cause of death and identity of the two.
