(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – In Florida, a man has been arrested after he threatened to kill both former President Donald Trump, who has officially become the Republican presidential nominee for 2024, and his running mate Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio).

On Friday, the Jupiter Police Department announced the arrest of Michael Wiseman following an investigation into threats he had made online against Trump, his running mate, and their families. He is now facing charges of Written Threats to Kill.

The Police have noted that they had received alerts to the threats through both residents and online crime tips as many had expressed concerns regarding Wiseman. After an investigation, it was determined that the man had made a number of threats against Trump and Vance, who was announced as Trump’s vice presidential pick during the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee this week.

The Jupiter Police has stated that the threats related to causing bodily harm to the two men and their families, and that the investigation that ensued following the threats was in coordination with the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office and the FBI.

The police argued that the JPD officers had taken the man into custody without any issues. This latest arrest comes after last week’s assassination attempt against former President Trump during his campaign rally in Butler, Pa. At the time a 20-year-old shooter had been perched on a rooftop from where he opened fire with a clear line of vision to Trump. The shooting resulted in one death and two attendees being critically injured, while one of the bullets also grazed Trump’s ear.
