(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – Vice President Kamala Harris has received Bill and Hillary Clinton’s endorsements to be the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee.

In a joint statement, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton posted to X that they were “honored to join [Biden] in endorsing” Harris, adding they would do whatever they could to support her.

The pair added that it was time “to support Kamala Harris” in her Presidential bid “and fight with everything we’ve got to elect her,” stressing that the country’s “future depends on it.”

The Clintons noted they had “lived through many ups and downs,” but hadn’t been more concerned for the U.S. than “the threat posed by a second Trump term.”

They also praised Biden for advancing the “founders’ charge to build a more perfect union,” thanking Biden for his accomplishments and “his North Star always being what’s best for the country.”

Hillary Clinton’s 2016 running mate, Senator Tim Kaine (D-Virgina), endorsed Harris.

After Biden announced his withdrawal from the race, Kaine told CBS that Harris had “made us proud.”

He also noted the best advice he could give Harris in her bid to secure the Democratic nomination would be to “be yourself.”

The Virginia Democrat acknowledged that although the circumstances aren’t ideal for a presidential bid, Harris’s “senate colleagues have a lot of confidence in her.”

He also added he would “do everything” he could in Virginia to ensure Harris is elected as President in November while thanking Biden for “doing the patriotic thing,” by withdrawing from the race.
