( – A number of Democratic Michigan voters recently told NBC News’ Kristen Welker that they were “reluctant” to support President Biden’s presidential bid in 2024 and that they were dissatisfied with the options available.

Welker specifically asked five Michigan Democrats whether they had decided who they would be supporting in the presidential election. Out of the five only three had raised their hands to indicate that they knew who to support.

One of the undecided voters, Jessie Kelly, argued that she wanted to see a candidate who would work to win her vote. A different undecided voter argued that most likely she was going to “agonize again” at the ballot box, and questioned how she could do such a thing again.

Welker proceeded to ask three other voters where they would be voting for Biden’s reelection “reluctantly.” This prompted one of the voters to state that they were very reluctant about the choice. However, that voter stated that as she was transgender there was no chance she would ever back a Republican.

A different voter argued that she was not enthusiastic about Biden being the Democratic nominee, but that she would support Biden because of his attempts to reduce the price of insulin.

Finally, the fifth voter Shelley Whitehead argued that she would never vote for a GOP candidate and that she would be “reluctantly” supporting Biden in the election again. She added that she was not in favor of Biden’s handling of the situation in the Middle East currently, and she was not fond of his age.
